Why I Live in Los Angeles

I don't drive in snow. I've never driven in snow. I never will drive in snow. If I ever HAD to drive in snow, I wouldn't. I would just stay in and order Pay per View or something.

I know my limits, especially when it comes to operating machinery and Newton's Laws of Motion.

This kind of stuff is making me stay put:

Loook Ouut!!!

And I see why you are staying put! There's no snow here either, thankfully (especially after seeing that).

If you'd grown up where I grew up you'd have no choice. Hills, snow and ice! Engage gear and go slow, keep off the brake... and move to somewhere temperate as soon as possible, that's my motto

I absolutely hate driving in snow. HATE it. And what's even worse than snow is ice storms. I wish I could just stay home when the weather's bad.

Modernemama, if I'd grown up where you did, I'm sure I wouldn't be such a big baby about it now. But at this point, there are some skills I'm just not going to learn.

I'll DO snow, but only if I have to. But ice? No way, Jose. Forget that sh*t!

That kind of stuff really bites. I know because I live where it snows... sigh. If there is ice, I try to stay home.
